Dr. Deepa Limaye is board certified in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities and did a 3-year fellowship in Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics.

 

It is very important to provide timely and comprehensive medical and diagnostic evaluations of children, especially for those under the age of five for developmental disorders. An early diagnosis facilitates the implementation of appropriate early intervention services.

Early Childhood Program:

To monitor the progress of premature infants and other newborns identified to be at risk for developmental problems and neurobehavioral disorders. Evaluation of the development of age-appropriate skills and need for early intervention services.

 

Your Child’s Evaluation:

Through every aspect of the child’s care, parents are an integral component in developing and implementing an effective treatment plan. Your child will have a complete neurological and developmental evaluation.

We integrate information from various specialty physicians, therapists, other health care professionals, and the school staff working with the child.

Policies:

AT EVERY VISIT:

Please bring the patient’s insurance card, your photo-ID and any payment/co-pay applicable at each visit.

 

Federal trade commission identity theft: ‘RED FLAGS RULE’:  We have to check photo identification at every office visit to comply with this rule.

 

APPOINTMENTS:

When making your appointment over the phone, we ask that you please have your current medical insurance information available for our staff. After collecting some brief information, the staff will assist you in making an appointment.

 

Please schedule the next physical exam or follow up appointment before you leave.

 

We realize that your time is valuable and we will make every effort to honor time commitments. When our providers encounter problems or emergencies, we ask for your patience and understanding.

 

To make every appointment worthwhile, please bring a list of all currently prescribed medications, with their strength and dosage.  Before each appointment, write down any questions or concerns that you would like to discuss. Always ask us to explain anything you don’t understand. Take notes. Writing down instructions will help you remember them after you leave.

 

CALL REMINDERS:

A courtesy call is given prior to the appointment but we expect the caregivers to make note of their appointments.

FAILURE TO KEEP APPOINTMENTS:

A fee will be charged for any missed appointments or for failure to cancel the appointment 24 hours prior to the appointment. We shall be unable to schedule any more appointments if either the initial appointment or more than 3 appointments are missed.

 

INSURANCE COVERAGE:

We accept most insurance carriers. Please have your card with you at the time of your visit. If we file your claim, you are responsible for the co-insurance or the amount set by your insurance if you have a deductible. All CO-PAYS are expected at the time of the visit. We will be charging an administrative fee if asked to the bill. If we are not a provider for your insurance, if you are not insured or we do not file with your insurance company, you may be responsible for the entire charge at the time of service.

 

RETURNED CHECKS:

An administrative fee of $25.00 or more will be charged for every returned check.

 

PRESCRIPTION REFILLS AND FORMS:

Please give us 24-48 hours.

 

ELECTRONIC DEVICES:
